Problem
Both professors and students at UC Davis couldn't find reliable reviews on courses due to the lack of guidance and moderation on Rate My Professors (RMP). Professors received skewed reviews driven by extreme student reactions based on their classroom experiences.
Solution
We created Aggie Review, a platform that shifted the focus from professors to the courses they taught, resulting in less emotion-driven and more credible reviews. Additionally, we implemented a system allowing users to provide more objective and productive feedback about the classes they took, improving the overall quality of course evaluations.
